Today’s Plastic-Free Challenge is all about getting outside, having fun, and helping nature at the same time! It’s Nature Walk Day, and TuTu is inviting YOU to join the adventure! 🎒🐿️
Let’s take a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and pick up a little trash to keep our parks, forests, and trails happy and clean. 💚
A nature walk is a fun stroll through:
A forest 🌲
A park 🛝
A beach 🏖️
Even your own neighborhood! 🏘️
You can spot birds, bugs, butterflies, flowers—and maybe even a squirrel doing something silly. 🐿️
But sometimes, we also spot something NOT so fun: plastic litter. 😞
Plastic doesn’t belong outside. When it gets left behind, it can:
Hurt animals who think it’s food 🐢
Get stuck in trees or rivers
Last for hundreds of years without going away!
That’s why YOU can be a Nature Hero by picking up litter while you explore! 🦸♀️🌿
TuTu’s checklist:
✔️ Reusable gloves or tongs (for picking up trash)
✔️ A bucket or bag (not plastic!)
✔️ A reusable water bottle 💧
✔️ A grown-up to help
✔️ Eyes ready to spot hidden trash!
🧢 Wear comfy shoes and maybe a hat. Don’t forget your Nature Hero smile!
🎯 Who can find the silliest piece of trash?
🗺️ Draw a map of what you cleaned up
🏆 Give awards like “Best Trash Detective” or “Litter Legend!”
✅ Candy wrappers
✅ Plastic bottles or lids
✅ Straws
✅ Old bags
✅ Cans or snack packs
❌ Don’t touch anything sharp or gross—let an adult handle it!
As you clean up, talk with your family about:
Where the trash might have come from
How we can stop it from ending up in nature
What we’ll do differently next time (like using reusable snacks or water bottles!)
By cleaning up, you’re giving plants, animals, and bugs a beautiful place to live. You’re also showing others how to care for the Earth. 🌻🌈
