How to Explain His Impact to Kids: Imagine if some neighborhoods had clean parks and fresh air, but others had trash everywhere and dirty water to drink. That wouldn’t be fair, right? Everyone deserves a safe and clean place to live.
Dr. Robert Bullard works to make sure that ALL people, no matter where they live, have clean air and water. He noticed that some communities—especially Black and low-income neighborhoods—had more pollution, making people sick. So, he spoke up and worked with leaders to make laws that protect those communities.
