Today’s Plastic-Free Challenge is all about the bathroom—and making bath time better for the planet!
Let’s say goodbye to plastic bottles of shampoo, soap, and body wash, and hello to awesome bars that are fun to use and kind to the Earth! 🎉
Most shampoos and soaps come in big plastic bottles. Once they’re empty, they usually get thrown away—sometimes ending up in landfills or the ocean! 😞🐢
But there’s a simple and fun swap: bars instead of bottles! 💪
Bar soaps and shampoo bars:
Come with little or no packaging (yay, less plastic!)
Last longer than liquid soaps
Are easy to use—just rub, lather, and rinse!
Smell AMAZING! 🍓🍋🍭
They’re perfect for kids AND grown-ups!
🧼 Rainbow Soap Bars – Colorful and swirl-y!
🫧 Bubblegum Scented Shampoo Bars – Smells like candy (but don’t eat it!)
🌿 Gentle Oatmeal Bars – Great for sensitive skin
🧼 Shampoo & Conditioner Bars – 2-in-1 power for clean, shiny hair!
To keep your bars fresh and long-lasting:
🧺 Use a soap dish with holes so it can dry
🌬️ Keep it in a dry spot—not in a puddle!
🧳 Going on a trip? Pack it in a tin, cloth bag, or travel case!
TuTu’s Tip: Decorate your soap dish with stickers to make it fun!
Bar soap has been around for hundreds of years—way before plastic bottles! And it’s still just as awesome today. 🌎
By switching to bars, you’re helping:
✅ Use less plastic
✅ Make less waste
✅ Keep oceans and animals safe
All while staying squeaky clean! 🛁💚

World Day of Social Justice is a reminder that fairness, kindness, and opportunity should be part of everyone’s life. It encourages us to think about how people are treated and whether everyone has what they need to be healthy, safe, and respected. What many youth may not realize is that caring for people is deeply connected to caring for the planet we all share.
When people think of Valentine’s Day, they often picture hearts, candy, and cards. While those are fun, this holiday can also be something much bigger. Valentine’s Day is really about love, and love does not stop with just one person. It can include our friends, our families, animals, and even the Earth itself 🌍.
World Environmental Education Day is a celebration of learning about our planet and why it needs our care 🌍. For youth, this day is a reminder that curiosity is powerful. Asking questions about nature, animals, weather, and ecosystems helps turn everyday observations into real understanding. The more you learn about how Earth works, the more confident you become in helping protect it.
